Greetings beautiful…

Chloe Rose is a new Orleans based costume designer creating hand made vintage inspired headpieces and accessories. Each piece is created with magical layers of unique flowers, trim, lace and appliques for an ethereal, organic and regal feel…

All Mystic Parlor materials have been chosen to be as lightweight for comfort and low-waste/impact as possible.

Storytime

rose was discovered by Rene Yañez (19 Sept. 1942 – 29 May 2018) A Mexican American painter, performance artist, curator and community activist located in San Francisco. Together with Yañez, they curated a runway event surrounding The John Paul Gaultier fashion exhibit for the De Young Museum in San Francisco, California in 2012. Rose created a full collection inspired by Frida Kahlo reflecting the designs of Gaultier’s fashion.

Rose has also participated in the internationally renowned costume contest, Project Nunway, hosted by the ferociously gracious Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, placing second in 2012, then winning the competition in 2014 before moving to new Orleans.

Background

Before Rose was a successful designer and art-trepreneur, she spent most days as a server and raising a son as a single mom.

With a passion to create, her son inspired her to move to New Orleans and make something of her dreams. Now you, lovely one, can wear a little piece of that dream…
